The Relationship Between the Dust Capacity of Dust Bag and Filtration Efficiency

 The dust holding capacity of the dust collection bag is also called the dust volume accumulated on the filter material per unit area when the dust load value reaches a given resistance value. The dust holding capacity of the dust bag affects the resistance of the filter material and the length of the cleaning cycle. In order to avoid frequent dust removal of dust removal equipment, it is generally required that the dust capacity of the dust removal bag be larger. The dust capacity of the dust bag is related to the porosity and air permeability of the filter material. The felt filter material has a larger dust capacity than the fabric filter material does.

From the point of view of the filter material structure, the filtering effect of short fibers is higher than that of long fibers. The filtration efficiency of the fabric filter should be high. From the point of view of the dust layer, for the thin filter material, the dust layer is easily destroyed after dust removal, and the efficiency is greatly reduced, while for the thick filter material, some dust can be retained in the filter material after dust removal to avoid excessive dust removal. Specifically, in order to meet the production needs of the company, the purchased cloth dust collector bags should meet the following requirements.  

 

(1) It has good air permeability. The function of the bag filter is to remove dust, so the dust holding capacity of the bag must be large enough. There are some relatively poor cloth dust collector bags in the market. Every time the dust removal function is turned on, it will shrink once, which is a substandard product.  

 

(2) Relatively strong resistance to temperature and corrosion. I believe that most companies know that if the cloth dust collector bags do not have good resistance to temperature and corrosion, they will soon be damaged and destroyed, losing the performance of dust removal, affecting the normal use of the bag filter.

 

(3) Easy to clean dust. The quality of dust removal is also related to the quality of the cloth dust collector bags themselves. For example, the material of both long fiber and short fiber, short fiber material, although it has a very good dust filter, but it is more difficult to clean up the dust on it.
